Long Lost Nature

We live in dire times. The environmental crisis has presented the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced. Yet, the inevitability of the crisis cannot be explained by intrinsic human nature. At fault, lies a hegemonic 500-year-old capitalist system and the power structures upholding it. Its sole objective of achieving economic growth is an endless pursuit of resource depletion and ecosystem destruction. The ‘Green’ economies and ‘Sustainable’ technologies of today are nothing but strategic campaigns to sell us our own demise. Like the Indians perplexed by the Spanish invasion, we too find ourselves in the dark regarding things happening around us. But there is important work to be done and important information to be brought to the people that exposes the lies all around. Through this website, I would try to bring readers closer to the work of people writing about the above themes. Let us resist!
